Monday: Make One Call and Help Fight Slavery and Sex Trafficking

This Monday you can make an incredible difference in the lives of untold numbers of children living under sexual/violent oppression in 3rd world countries- simply by making a quick phone call!!

Abolitionists around the country are advocating for the passage of the Child Protection Compact Act – critical legislation designed to help protect children in targeted countries from slavery and sex trafficking. We are now entering a crucial phase: If Congress does not make the CPCA a priority and pass it into law before adjourning in October for mid-term elections, the bill will die.

The International Justice Mission is holding a National Call-in Day on the CPCA next Monday, September 20, which happens to be the day before the mark-up.   We need constituents from all around the country to call their senators and ask them to support the CPCA.   IJM has created a simple sample script  for folks to use when they make their calls.  PLEASE take a moment to click on the link below to see how you can very easily help make a huge impact!!
